This past weekend I celebrated my first Christmas with my Husband & new in-laws!

We had a great time and I am so so thankful for wonderful family.

It was great spending time with new family and I am excited to continue celebrating

this coming weekend with my side of the family

Christmas, Christmas!

December is here and Christmas is getting closer and closer by the day!

I hope everyone is enjoying shopping, decorating, getting together with friends & family, 

but most importantly... remembering that Jesus is the reason for the season!

William and I are loving how cozy our decorated apartment feels... it definitely feels more like

 home with all the christmas ornaments, smells, lights, candles, christmas music and stockings!

so...

I am in EXTRA Christmas spirit!! 

I am super super excited and I even made homemade Christmas ornaments for our tree!

Our "Rustic" Christmas tree came together quite nicely

and I'd say that it isn't too shabby for us "first timers"
