wedding on my mind...

i eat, i sleep, i pray... with WEDDING on my mind!  i am feeling creative and crafty today! and i am already counting down the days until the big day, still 114 to go.  it feels like it will take an eternity until i can say that today is may 21st, the day i will become mrs mack! :)

D.I.Y paper flower

i found this DIY paper flower online... i had my doubts but it actually WORKED and it is super cute! I figured i would share it with you guys because i am slightly obsessed with it now.  i strongly believe that this cute paper flower will be a small detail at my wedding <3

my little pooch.

say hello to sadie! this is my dog, she is a miniature schnauzer and today i had the pleasure of giving her a bath.  i soaked her in the tub and then decided to blow dry her hair.  she didn't like the hair dyer very much but she is so funny,  after i was done she was such a proud, clean little dog!  she pranced around the house and made sure to jump up on each person (except my mother of course, she is terrified of my mother) to ensure that they acknowledged how clean and soft she was.  everyone gave her a little pat on the head and she proceeded to little pillow in the living room to take her daily nap.  as much as she hates having a bath, she sure is a proud little pooch after it is all over!

I am so so excited about my engagement shoot tomorrow morning with Adam and Olivia!  They are such a cute couple.  I have been brainstorming and location scoping today... here are a few engagement pictures that I am going to use for inspiration:

the perfect save-the-date envelope.

For the past four days my Mom and I have been working on the save-the-dates for my wedding.  I designed the save-the-dates myself, then realized that an envelope to fit this size does not exsist.  I then had an epiphany! "WHY NOT MAKE THE PERFECT ENVELOPE?" so the craziness began.  We have stayed up way too late and probably spent way too much time on this little detail of the wedding.  However, I just cannot bring myself to do a project and not be O.C.D about it.  Here is a sneak peak of our work and the amazing starburts that I ate continuously... I will have more pictures of the save-the-dates after they are mailed out and in the hands of my lovely wedding guests!
