kitchen chairs.

Wiliam and I are in the market for some kitchen chairs. Luckily, a friend of his family decided to give us a kitchen table, which I am super excited about... now we need to find some fun chairs to go with it! Our table is going to be white (of course) and I thought chairs with a little color would be perfect!

Hopefully we can find some chairs as cute as these!

and...WEDDING SEASON BEGINS!

This Saturday, March 19.. Josh Maclaga and Caroline Mack will be getting married in Mooresville, NC. Caroline just so happens to be my future sister-in-law. Of course I am very excited about going to their wedding this weekend... and I think I am EXTRA excited because I am anxiously waiting for my own wedding wedding day to get here. This will give me a little dose of WEDDING to hold me over until May! :)

going back...

Today I decided that I was going to bring back an old picture. I will probably do this a few more times because I keep finding good ones to reintroduce. I thought it would be neat to see the improvements I have made in my editing skills over the past several months.

The girl in the picture is one of my good friends, Candice! (I think I took this picture of her last spring) She came to visit me this past weekend... it was so good to see her! We don't get to hangout much these days since she lives an hour away from me.

an arm full of bracelets.

I sadly write this post...

I think today is the day to take all my bracelets off...

I wear several bracelets on my left arm and the night my fiance asked me to marry him he asked me if I was going to take off all the bracelets for the wedding. I didn't agree or say yes right away... but every time someone looked at my beautiful new ring on my left hand they always noticed the bracelets... and also asked "are you going to wear those in the wedding?"

I have finally come to the conclusion that I will not wear them during the wedding... but i just cannot bring myself to cut them off... I will feel so naked!

maybe I will take them off this evening...

and then maybe I will go buy new bracelets that I can take on and off as I please :)

call me crazy...

YES!.. that's a scarf.. WITH A WEDDING DRESS!

any of you that know me, even just a little, know that i am completely obsessed with scarves! I don't know if i am daring enough to actually wear a scarf with my wedding dress or even if my wedding dress would look right with a scarf BUT i think the girl in the picture above is UNBELIEVABLY CUTE! She is breaking every rule of the "traditional wedding" from her scarf to her blue wedding dress with no vail! Sometimes I get the urge to do something completely crazy like this.

Why I Love My Hometown.

PILOT MOUNTAIN, NC

This picture was taken from the exit I live off of on Hwy. 52. When I come up off the exit ramp and see this view of Pilot Mountain I think "ahh... I am HOME" and it is such an amazingly relaxing feeling.

As you can see... no huge restaurant or advertising signs... just BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY, fresh air, blue sky and NO STOPLIGHTS to hold you back...

just the open road...

--and the CURVY ROADS... they may be bad for the life of my tires but they were so much fun to whip around in my little honda accord back in high school!

Today all I do is stop-and-go at every block for a stoplight or i am stuck in traffic. oh how i miss the open road...

a new meaning of "DOWNTOWN"

downtown doesn't consist of sky scrappers, "walk" signs, traffic lights and business men. Pilot Mountain's Downtown consists of a cute little cafe, Sandra Heath's Hair Salon that EVERYONE went tanning at before prom, a peaceful walk down the side walk with the occasional wave at someone passing by, the police station with two police cars, and of course... the squeeze box!
